Dafforn & Son have been excellent, professional and kind, they found a wonderful Vicar, explained the process throughout and consulted with myself and my sisters in the planning of our Mother's funeral.

The funeral was faultless and uplifting, the Funeral Director guided us through the service with dignity and compassion and I would highly recommend Dafforn & Sons to others.

My mother had planned her funeral extensively before her death, but left some items for us to plan as her children. Roger was sensitive and highly supportive of us as a family, guiding us through the process. He was patient and empathetic, constantly checking on our family through difficult circumstances. His team were equally considerate to our feelings but remained professional at all times. Our family are extremely grateful for their professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring they were prepared for every eventuality.

I only made contact with Clarke and son on the morning of my fathers passing. They were excellent from the word go. They picked dad up from home a few hours after he passed which gave us all time to say a good bye. We played music as they respectfully took him and stepped back and gave us all the time we needed. They talked through everything very simply. They facilitated the grandsons carrying the coffin. They facilitated my son picking up the ashes the next day as one of his wishes. Nothing has been to much trouble. Wouldn’t hesitate to use this friendly family firm at a time when you need all the support you can get. Thank you from the Ward family.

Excellent from the start. We were recommended to RP Byrom & Son by a family friend who spoke very highly of them, and we were not disappointed. After losing our Dad relatively young, none of us had ever found ourselves in this situation where we had to plan a funeral.

Chris at RP Byrom & Son was amazing from start to finish. He really took the weight off of our shoulders and made the day run as perfectly as possible to give our Dad the best send off. We had so many compliments after the service about how well run the service was and how appropriate it all was for our Dad and we could not be more grateful for Chris’ support and expertise. He was very understanding, calm and organized which meant we could fully trust him to make the day special, and he really did.
