The day itself went without a hitch and the funeral director and driver were lovely. But I felt that communication before the day was poor, we weren't even told in advance that our contact person, David would be away the week of the funeral. We had to keep ringing up to find out when Joy was ready to view and to see where we were in the process. However Wendy who stood in for David the week he was away was excellent. She made sure everything was done and really calmed my frazzled nerves by efficiently going through everything.

Stibbards are exemplary & really are totally amazing … with the managing of all the details and the final touches that did not go unnoticed. 
Your service on the day was carried out with such dignity and respect ; it was well regarded by our whole family . So many of our family and friends commented on how wonderful everything was. You took great care of everyone and everything that needed to be done.
The leaflets were the best we have ever seen , so very well presented.

My lovely mum was cared for by Stibbards Canvey. Kate was wonderful and I know my mum was safe and cared for and all my wishes for mum was taken care of professionally but also with empathy. For the second time of using Stibbards in Canvey Island, the service once again was excellent from start to finish. I received so much help and support from Kate in the office, nothing was ever too much trouble, it certainly helped to make a very difficult situation easier.
