Not having ever had to be involved in organising a funeral before, I had no idea what to expect and must admit to having sleepless nights in the run up to our appointment with Lisa at Stibbards in Canvey Island. However Lisa ran us through all the details, taking time to ensure we were clear with everything. She has a very nice way with people and I'd have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.
On the day of the funeral, everything went just as planned and all the gentlemen looked extremely smart but also moved things along in a very nice way. My Mum would have been very pleased with her day. Thank you everyone.

David showed us as a family such kindness and consideration. His attitude towards us all was so compassionate at our time of need. On the day of the funeral Scott  was excellent,he showed great respect and helped us so much. From initial contact it was clear that Stibbards were very professional and supportive in guiding us through this difficult time. All staff were courteous and friendly especially Wendy who was the principal contact and was with us all the way. Nothing was too much trouble. We both felt happy that our Mum was being well cared for in their company. On the day of the funeral everything went according to plan and timed to the minute as we had a Funeral mass and then the service at the Crematorium. The men of the Cortège were also very courteous and professional from start to finish.

From the moment we walked through their door to the day of the funeral we were treated with upmost respect and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on the end of the phone ready to help in any way they could. We were treated as a family who were in mourning but if the need arose the atmosphere would change to keep us cheerful.
