I was looked after from the start by a lovely lady Janice who was there for me at all times I as Benjamin's mother was distraught she helped me every step of the way I changed my mind about things many times nothing was to much trouble I will never forget her personal touch and kindness whilst had had to do the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life many thanks Julia Andreas

Every contact with Stibbards was handled professionally and respectfully. Debbie in the Leigh office was our contact point and she kept us informed and answered all of our questions. On the day of the funeral Martin and his team were excellent and guided myself and my brothers through the pall bearing duties.

An excellent sympathetic service right from the very beginning. Stibbards handled everything in relation to the death and funeral service, leaving us with just a few decisions to make. At a time of loss their guidance was invaluable. Wendy who handled our case was very caring. The staff on the day of the cremation were wonderful and it felt so good to be in experienced hands at a time when we were grieving and felt personally lost. I would absolutely recommend 100%.

In all it was a lovely funeral but my mum paid for a funeral plan and I understand they have no control over 3rd party changes but we were shocked to have pay £253 for out of hours transfer from her home and into their care in all we had to pay £843.85 which we didn’t expect when she had paid for her funeral plan

From the moment of 1st contact, we never felt pressurised and were given time and space to make decisions, some that we changed, as it’s an extremely difficult and upsetting moment in time, and all through, Stibbards were there to give us friendly and experienced advice.
We would thoroughly recommend Stibbards to anyone looking to make an immensely difficult time a little easier.

The service and care is quite frankly beyond their rivals. 
I asked for the wonderful Martin Stibbard to preside over my Fathers funeral. As he did for my son, mother and wife. 
To put into perspective. When you wait for the arrival of your loved one. You see Martin and his fantastic staff. You breath a sigh of relief. You know that all is in hand. 
I would also like to thank Martins people. Especially his daughter. She is continuing the fine tradition of the Stibbards family.

I had previously used stibbards for my mums funeral in jan 2021, where the service and professionalism was always first class in every aspect , so it made sense on my part to go my local branch in  hockley , and yes everything was first class right up from the word go at the beginning to the end on driving us to the wake at the cliffs Pavillion ,

Stibbards is not just a service. It’s an experience. If you leave your loved one in Stibbards hands. You know your loved one will be treated like one of there own. They are exemplary in that field.
I honestly do not think standards can be beaten. Andrew was so professional and friendly.  Very informative guided us every step of the way. My family were in awe of such a young man being so skilled in that field and so compassionate. Our drivers were fantastic and gave great attention to detail. They were very attentive. And really put us at ease. They explained everything every step of the way. We never felt rushed. It’s worth every penny to know your loved one is being treated with dignity and respect and shown person centred  care at all times. So a big Thank-you from my whole family we 💯  recommend your services.
