Unfortunately it is the third time I’ve had to organise a funeral.  The first time we chose Stibbards as they can recommended to us and they handled our funeral arrangements both professionally, respectfully and caringly.  So we had no reservations using them at our second funeral and again recently at our third for my mother.  All the staff  were amazing.

Incredible service from start to finish. My beautiful nan had the best send off and everyone that attended said how well it went.
Massive thanks to David for putting up with me, answering all my questions and allowing me to visit my nan frequently. This really did help me with dealing with my nan's passing.

From the first phonecall to the moment the car dropped us back to the wake, all the staff at Stibbards were respectful, understanding and so helpful. They made a very difficult day go smoothly and without issue even when it began to snow heavily as we left the church. From my mother and my whole family, thank you for looking after my Dad and giving us a perfect farewell.

The re assurance you would look after my mum made us all feel comforted. On the day of the funeral Stuart took full control, again with such kindness and empathy, nothing was to much trouble at all. Wendy in the Hadleigh office managed my mother’s funeral, in March 2022, most efficiently and helpfully, all by telephone. My mother died out of area in Cheshire so Stibbards liaised with a funeral director up there and made the whole process seamless.
On the funeral day, the team was also superb: guiding us through and looking and being very professional.
We were very pleased with the whole service. Stibbards managed my father’s funeral 12 years ago and the service was as good this year as it was 12 years ago.

Went back too Stibbards &Son Canvey as they did such a great, professional and caring job. They have now dealt with my Nan and Granddad in the 70’s, my uncle in the 80’s and now my mum and dad. Thank you so much for all your help with everything. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The difficulties I faced arranging a funeral for my precious son were made easier with your empathy, compassion and professionalism.
Thank you will never be enough to express our gratitude for all that you have done for our family over the past few weeks. You showed humility, compassion and kindness at a time we really needed it and for this we will always be grateful. Thank you for guiding us through on the day. You went above and beyond to make my sons funeral perfect.

We are also very impressed with the quality of the recordings of the service and in these times it will be greatly valued by the family and friends.
