We used R Wallace and Sons for a funeral in April this year. From start to finish they were professional and exceptionally helpful. They offered impartial advice about the services and options available to our family which contributed to a very personable church service and burial. When a family is grieving its easy to overlook aspects of a funeral which can never be revisited but with the knowledge and help of R Wallace and Sons, suggestions and ease of communication, the funeral could not have gone any better. The staff helped with every aspect and sympathetically made suggestions which helped to make a very sad part of life just that little bit easier and better..

Several people who attended the funeral and saw for themselves the way the staff conducted themselves have now also chosen R Wallace as their funeral directors. This speaks volumes and I would not hesitate is recommending them.

At a very difficult time for us everyone we dealt with was kind and thoughtful.
They all helped us through the process of providing  just the right kind of farewell that we wanted for Bill - a Service of celebration but with dignity. When we asked for the crematorium service to be after the refreshments we were warned that there would be an extra cost but there was no difficulty in providing it.
We were all very grateful to them and more than satisfied with the service they gave us before, during and after the actual funeral.

R. Wallace & Sons are such a very caring professional family run business.
From the moment I met them after my husband Arthur Lunnon had passed away they showed me nothing but compassion, friendliness and guidance. When I first visited my husband in the Chapel of Rest I was very nervous and without a word I was asked if I would feel more comfortable if they accompanied me for a few moments, I was so grateful. Their attention to detail was amazing. I already had decided the kind of service my husband would have liked a 'Nautical Theme'. I must say nothing was too much trouble for them, ensuring my wishes were met. I cannot fault them. Even when I asked for my husbands son and grandsons to be the pallbearers, they were so helpful and on hand. The service was outstanding, they took complete control of the day.
I can highly recommend R. Wallace & Sons to take care of all your requirements. I can not thank you enough. Carol Lunnon
