Where do I start. As a family we first met Ryan when he came to our parents to complete pre payment funeral plans. R Wallace and sons then dealt with the funeral of our father in May 2020
and recently with our mother in August 2024.
We cannot rate the firm highly enough and whilst the two deaths were a very upsetting time for us Ryan who we dealt with primarily was someone who we knew would look after and treat our parents with respect. We felt comforted that they were in the funeral home being treated with dignity and respect.
Ryan was extremely helpful and kind in guiding us in all aspects of organising both funerals. Mum and  dad were given the send off they deserved.
I would truly recommend this family firm to everyone wanting a kind caring respectful firm to help them through the traumatic time of organising a funeral. I took comfort from the fact that they would look after mum (as they did Dad)
Thank you Ryan and all the staff at R Wallace and sons. I cannot praise you highly enough and as a family firm everything that was done had the personal touch and I felt you truly cared for us and your professionalism was second to none. Recommend highly

Once again the Wallace family have done a excellent job looking after us and all my Dads wishes . Both with the cremation and also laying Dads ashes to rest at Owston Ferry churchyard with Mum. Who funeral they also did for us. 
No words seem good enough to praise this family who go to a high level of care making sure our family is looked after on the day of the funeral and before hand and after. 
First class care from all the Wallace family for all 4 funerals they looked after for my family. Excellent service.

This is a really fabulous family funeral directors. Sadly the third funeral we have had that they have done for us in the last 4 years. Each one has been excellent. As a family we all feel that Wallace Funeral Directors provided an excellent service. This includes the staff who attended in the early hours of the morning to collect our beloved Mum. They left a card on Mum’s pillow with a very touching verse which was a beautiful touch from the company. We were kept informed of all progress leading up to the funeral and felt everything was very efficient. Pictures were sent to us of the order of service and the flowers, which was lovely to see before the funeral day. On the day the staff were considerate, helpful and made us feel nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend.
