We were very pleased with the service received from Southgate & Roberts. They are professional and caring, and treated my father with great respect. They made themselves available to answer all my questions and provided help and advice and, on the day of the funeral were discreet, caring and respectful. I appreciate all the time and care taken throughout the planning process as well as on the day, and also having such a calm and pleasant environment for my final visit with my father. Everyone was helpful and pleasant but Liam deserves particular mention for all his time, patience and diligence. It all made a difficult time go smoothly and I would happily recommend Southgate & Roberts to anyone.

I would like to thank Southgate and Roberts for the excellent service they provided us during such a terrible time when we lost our daughter. The way they provide service is unique and out of this world. The professionalism, empathy,care and advice they have given us has enlightened our burden a thousand times. The moment we entrusted the care of our daughter to them was that moment of relief..A feeling that came to me was, "this burden is not mine alone and I have someone who really cares" .We can not thank the whole team enough but God will reward them . Liam, you got a great calling to make other people feel better in their times of trouble. Julian, Matt, Fiona and everyone behind the scenes. Thank you so much. The gentleman who came to collect Esther Hadassa's flowers too , all yoi guys very gentle. The six other gentleman "pole bearers "at the graveside you are awesome. I would highly recommend Southgate and Roberts to anyone anytime.

Since the day I contacted Southgate & Robert’s nothing was too much trouble.  I live in Malaysia , and when I knew that my mother was very sick I came back to Ipswich . She passed after I was back for 36 hours at home . I had no idea what to do , and my husband contacted S&R, they were there from the start until her cremation.  Always professional, but with deep compassion . You could call them about anything and they would be there . Every wish for mums cremation was executed just the way I wanted . 
I want to thank each and every member of staff , with a special mention to Liam , and our Celebrent Julian .   You made this sad and difficult time so dignified and with such care .  Thank you for all your guidance and support .

Excellent service from the very first phone call.
Darren displayed utter professionalism, compassion and showed the utmost care not only to ourselves but my father who had passed away.
In such a time of distress navigating an unfamiliar process I wouldn't have wanted anyone else supporting me.
I knew and trusted that my father was in safe hands.
Darren and all the staff couldn't do enough, they really do go above and beyond!

Liam, Darren and all the team at Southgate and Roberts are outstanding. Our beloved Husband and Dad passed within just over 24 hours that left us grief stricken and completely in shock. We had no idea what to do and finding a funeral director was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make. As soon as I rang and Liam answered I knew instantly I had chosen the right one. The compassion, understanding and warmth from Liam was amazing. The team helped us through an extremely difficult time with dignity and professionalism. It is like they knew our Dad with all the little touches too. On the day of the funeral it was extremely well organised in fine detail and very professional. Liam and his team looked immaculate. We want to thank you for all your care to us and looking after our wonderful Husband and Dad so beautifully in what has been a devastating time for us all. The team at Southgate and Roberts have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Well in fact even before I ever thought I would need them. One of the partners left a lasting impression on me years ago so it was them that made me think to use them. I am so glad we went with my initial instinct because they did not disappoint. Their attention to detail, support, and understanding made every step of this heartbreaking journey that much easier. Particularly Darren who helped us throughout. He's a lovely person and completely got our families sense of humour even when we joked throughout. Thank you for caring for my dad is such a kind and considerate way and doing your absolute best to complete our wishes and meet/exceed our expectations. Although I hope to not need your services again in a hurry....we will always choose to use you and recommend you.

I cannot recommend Southgate and Roberts enough for how they dealt with the funeral of my Dad, Graham. They were the only local company that we spoke to who were understanding and caring and really took the time to understand our needs. They were amazing and as a family we will be eternally grateful for how they dealt with everything.
