A.Wass funeral directors took all my stress and worries away from the moment I contacted their office. A lovely lady called Vicky talked me through the whole process with compassion and sympathy. The passing of my wife was the darkest time of my life and I wish to thank all the staff and management for getting me and my family through this difficult time.

I knew that changing the family funeral director was the right thing to do. A Wass was by far the best choice. They were there from start to finish. Every request I made was filled with confidence. The funeral itself could not have gone any better.

All the staff whom work and care within A.Wass are both kind, caring and compassionate. At a very sad time for our family they remained professional and made our sad time a little more bearable. At the time of visiting our loved one, whom was taken far too soon, they supported and showed a great deal of respect to ourselves and our departed. I would recommend A.Wass to anyone seeking that compassionate and individual touch. I cannot thank them enough.

I have to se a massive thank you to Paul, Sharon, Dawn, and all the team at A Wass Funeral Directors for what they did for my dad on his passing. They are outstanding in what they do with compassion, professionalism, and quality in all they do. It was a massive comfort to us all on how they deal with my dad from the first instance of being there just after his passing and all the way through to his cremation, including making him look impeccable and like my dad in the chapel of rest even though his last remaining months of life were very poor quality and difficult for him. The order of service books were excellent down to the last detail in the pictures that we sent to them. I have emailed the team at A Wass Funeral Directors to thank them myself, but I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me and my family. Kind regards Tony.

Our family cannot put into words the thanks that we would like to give to all workers at A. Wass funeral directors... Vicki is the lady who arranged my Dad’s funeral and nothing was too much for her, she took time to ensure that our whole family was supported whenever needed, even out of the normal office opening hours.
We had a Catholic funeral for Dad and any problems that we faced were fully taken in hand by Vicki and the Wass’ wider team.  
Over the process of the last 3 weeks we have been treated as family rather than customers and we can’t possibly recommend with higher regard.
Thank you so much to Vicki, Paul, Dawn and the whole team at Wass’ - even including the cleaner who was lovely to us when we visited in the Chapel of rest.

You allowed us to give our Dad and dear Husband to our Mum, a better send off than we could have ever wished for.

No one wants to plan a funeral for their two year old, Paul of A Wass made everything so easy for us. All the stress was taken away and every wish was made to happen thanks to Paul and his colleagues, while our family could concentrate on getting through the dark days. Our little boy had the perfect funeral, everything was as we asked for and Paul had arranged it all. The care and compassion shown from the moment he collected our boy, was outstanding. We can’t thank Paul and those at  A Wass enough

Paul and his colleagues took care of all the arrangements efficiently with care and respect. We felt looked after from the minute we walked through the door. There was minimal intervention but we knew they were there to support us if we needed them. I would definitely recommend them as a professional, caring company.
