In loving memory of Leslie George Bramhill who sadly passed away on 2nd May 2022

Les was born in 1944 in Liverpool and later moved to Harwich where he grew up later meeting his wife Pam whilst at school.

He joined the police in 1963 and was stationed mainly in the South of Essex at Basildon, Rayleigh, Southend, Grays and Billericay and retired in 1993 after completing his 30 years service.

He went on to work at Tesco for a short while as their security manager before returning to what he knew at Essex Police as a Crime Reduction Advisor before retiring again in 2003 to then take up his love of Holidays

Please feel free to leave a message here or light a candle in his memory. We ask for family flowers only and any donations to support the Alzheimer's charity and illness that Dad suffered with in the last few years of his life.

His funeral will be at Pitsea Crematorium at 12:30 on the 20th May followed by a get together at Benfleet Cricket Club in Manor Road, Benfleet to remember his life.

  • With loving memories of a dear Uncle. The biggest man with the softest heart. I’m so glad of the memories of the time spent with him and Auntie Pam as a child and the wonderful holiday we shared together in Spain. Pam and Les, reunited ❤️
