Mike was a super Head Teacher and a kind thoughtful person always interested in everything and everyone. Jenny and Kyle Green.

With fond memories of a wonderful brother-in-law, who was interested in everyone and everything. His was a generous spirit that was tragically cut short too early. Our lives have been made richer for having known you, Mike.

As a member of Guildford Writers’ Group, Mike will be sorely missed. It was a privilege to have known him, as a writer and a person.

Mike quickly became an often seen good friend later in his life. We always enjoyed discussions about politics and the arts and listened attentively to his thoughts, not least his knowledge of Crystal Palace football team, the Six Nations rugby, and about how seriously he took his writing and also work for the Samaritans. It was such a shock that a good person's life could end so tragically, our heartfelt sympathies go to Jackie, and his considerable family tribe and friends.

In fond memory of a fine man, whom I'm so glad to have known and who'll be much missed by many. Especially thinking now of his lovely and loving family and our condolences to them for their tragic loss.
