His words of wisdom stayed with me throughout my 22 years in the Army and I will never ever forget this amazing man who made me laugh so much. Dear Colin (Sunray), you were a true gentleman, fun, and a pleasure to share many good times with, over the past 8 or so years. We miss you, and we will always remember you in our hearts.

I loved your big heart. Always supportive and kind, I have such loving cards and messages to look back on from you. Once you had finished with your teasing you were the gentlest of souls. I’ll miss you so much. I love you. Xxxx

Forever reciting poetry, this was one of his and my favourites, "Tired and weary I lay down in the gutter, and a little pig lay down by my side. A woman walking by was heard to sadly mutter, "You can always tell them that boozes by the company they do choses", and the little pig got up and walked away". Love you dad, you were one in a million.
