Dave Lowe (20 Mar 1947 - 26 Aug 2015)

Many happy memories of greenlane runs and off roading weekends spent with Dave. From hillside repairs to his exhaust at Lea Bridge to zinc plated sausages at Eastnor Castle.
One night,possibly after a few beverages around the campfire, Dave managed to find himself locked out of his caravan. I was taking up considerable space in the awning as Anne and Dave had kindly allowed me to sleep in there, so Dave had to spend the night in his car only to be woken up a few hours later by a very large alsation.
Who could forget those immortal words spoken to Dave while he and Mad Dog were out on a green lane run. " second gear low and floor it Lowey."
All those years in the series 3 club would not have been the same without you Lowey. Rest in peace
My thoughts are with Anne and the family at this sad time.

Deepest condolences to Ann and all the family, we had any happy times spent with David, Ann, Andy and Christine. Lots of good memories of "av a go Lowe" especially when trying to imitate a speed camera when camping! Also when he returned to the camp site at Carsington after taking Nikki to the hospital, on two wheels and a wing mirror as he had lost his brakes. Rest easy Dave.
