We are both deeply sorry that Karen has been taken from us. She will always be remembered as a kind lady, devoted to her family, gifted, and a true Plymtree girl who willingly gave her time and effort to support her Village, and her friends and neighbours. Dear Karen, our memories of you are of this wonderful, smiling, positive and helpful person. We are so fortunate to have know you over the years we have been in the village - you always brought happiness, warmth and laughter to every occasion. We will miss you. Our condolences to your family.

I send my condolences to all the family at this very sad time. I would have attended the service but will be on my way to London at that time and therefore apologise that I cannot see you personally. I knew Karen through her work, being "on the other side"; she was always courteous and helpful professionally and personally had that winning smile which showed her nature. I was fortunate enough to find last year that she was on the same CPD course as me at Bristol and having her friendly company helped the day to pass much more pleasantly. She will certainly be missed by many people. I am sure you will have many good memories to treasure which will help you through your loss.

I am truly sorry that Karen has left us all. She was a very brave and dignified lady. Myself and Karen had a good work relationship and also spoke about anything and everything. As for Karen's family they meant the world and then some. I am thinking of everyone at this difficult time.

You were an amazing person to work with and I always enjoyed our chats and hearing about your family and grandchildren Willow and Alfie and the antics of your cats Harry and Dobby. My thoughts are with your family and I am sorry I will be unable to attend your funeral as I am away on holiday.
