Dear Ron,
I'm so glad I got to meet you and to know you.

I came across a couple of Irish poems and wish to share some of the lines from each poem with you.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered ‘ come to me’
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered ‘ peace be thine’

Those close to you, with tearful eyes watched you, and saw you pass away.
And although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest
God’s garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day the Angels called you home.

May you rest in peace Ron.
