In loving memory of John 'Barry' Whirrity who sadly passed away on 15th April 2022. He will be greatly missed by Rosemary, his younger sister Lynn and nephew Chris.
As friends and family will know, Barry was proud to be a Yorkshire man.
Barry was passionate about architecture and later about the conservation of historic buildings. He loved his work as Conservation Officer for Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council.
He was happiest pottering about and doing DIY at his holiday home in rural Brittany.
He had a way with dogs, who all seemed to adore him, and he supported the charity Guide Dogs.
No flowers please but if well wishers would like to make a donation to Guide Dogs in Barry’s memory, this would be a wonderful tribute to his life.
