Mum, only you know how I feel, our thoughts and feelings were always the same.
It wasn't meant to be like this, we had so much more to say and things to do, but you knew the most important and that was we loved you more than words could ever say and we hold the love you had for us in our broken hearts.
I feel so very proud to call you mum and my very best friend and I pray with your guidance I will become the person you were. We shared so many thoughts, memories and tears together and I know we can't see you I know you are there and you will help me like you always do. Goodnight God Bless, Love You xx Yvonne and Ian xx

What a wonderful lady Joan was.

As a friend of Yvonne, I have known Joan for 50 years or more, and so have many memories.

Like:
The open house she kept where someone was always dropping in and being made welcome.
Joan in the kitchen baking – and what lovely pastry she made!
It seemed that on every visit, following Joan’s thorough clean, the lounge furniture would be in a different position.

She found a lot of pleasure in life and in people and although she suffered with her health she never seemed to complain.

Of all my memories of Joan the one thing I remember most of all is her amazingly infectious laugh.

Joan, you will be sorely missed by so many.

Teresa

learnt of your passing. I only hope that wherever you are you can look down on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you and guide them as you have been doing all of your life. I will miss our little chats on the phone or at home ,But will never forget you.Rest in peace dear friend, Love always to you and all yor family, xxxx Paul and Caron,

My dear cousin Joan, oh how I shall miss you. We spent many hours putting the world to rights and I never came away without having a good laugh. You were remarkable right up to the end and never complained though you were sitting at home for two years due to the pandemic. Indeed covid stopped me from being able to see you in your final hours. I will never forget you and hope you are reunited with your late family. My family share this. Rest in peace Joan xxxx

Our dearest Auntie Joan, cannot begin to say how much you will be missed - you were such a rock for us when we lost our amazing mum (Nellie), always there to listen and give comfort and advice. We are so sorry that we have not been able to visit, mainly because of covid and illness within our families but we have always managed to carry on with our regular telephone chats, which will be missed. We all have such happy memories of visits, family celebrations and get togethers etc., not to mention your stories of holidays with mum. Definitely the end of an era. We are sure our mum will show you the ropes, Auntie Joan and when Uncle Wilf and our dad get together with you and our mum, the angels will wonder just what is going on! Sleep tight Auntie Joan, all our love Nellie and Boris' kids Susan, Jane, Trevor and families xx
