So my work wife what can I say we had so much fun working together for over 14 years I used to call you my work wife and so did every one else the way we used to squabbled in fun people used to say your pair are like an old married couple this included my own wife who would often say to you that you would know more than I do because I would forget which one of you I told something to Rest in peace my lovely work wife x

I have worked alongside Chris since moving to Martin Jackaman Day Centre nearly 10 years ago. Chris was always light-hearted and happy to have some larks whilst cleaning up after us. We joked about having to put the chairs up and pretended that we hadn't done it. I would often hide her bucket or unplug her hoover, knowing that she would pretend to be cross with me and maybe give chase.
Chris would always find my belongings if I misplaced them & even returned things before I realised that they were lost. She once saved my bacon when I left a hosepipe running in the hydro-pool.
Thank you for looking after MJC and for looking after me. I will miss you and will put the 'chairs up' in Parrot Room one last time on Thursday.
