A generous man of great spirit and down to earth wisdom. By gum so many memories and it’s the little ones that stay with me - family at Christmas and the games of whist, chess and cribbage. Penny would draw doodles and Gordon would interpret them. I remember him playing five a side football at Nigel’s stag do competing with those half his age. Whenever I hear the pipes and drums I think of Gordon. Goodbye Uncle Gordon, I miss you, I’ll be raising a glass of scotch tonight with a wine-gum or two.
