Such a special man with a wonderful character who will be deeply missed but remembered by all who had the pleasure to know him. Inspiring family who cared for him so lovingly when needed. My thoughts are with you x

Sarah Gibb donated £40 in memory of Arthur

As my Mum has said there’s so many people to thank, firstly family, support from friends, all the service providers over the last 3 years, the GP’s, social services (we’d never have been able to keep Dad at home without this fantastic team), and special thanks to “Hospice at Home” who made a terribly hard and sad 4 days more bearable. The work they do in the community is amazing and we are so grateful that, because of them and the community nurses, Dad was able to pass on while feeling our touch, hearing our love and hopefully feeling comfort from us. I feel honoured & blessed to have had that opportunity. Sleep peacefully now Dad. Xxx

Marie Gibb donated £50 in memory of Arthur

There are so many people to thank for helping both Arthur and myself, not including family. From our wonderful occupational therapist to Retain and Bluebird Care, the Community Nursing team at Wilton, and finally Hospice at Home, the charity we are raising money for, as they helped us so much when we were in a crisis situation. Without all of these services Arthur could not have been cared for at home to end his days, and while we all miss him terribly we are so grateful that we could do that. Thank you all, and to family and friends too. Marie x
