Terry Middleton (Passed away 14 Mar 2022)

Remembering our friend Terry Middleton who sadly passed away on 14th March 2022. I have known Terry for around 30 years having met him a little while after he came down from his home town of Warwick to live in Southampton. Terry was larger than life as any who knew him would I'm sure agree. He was a handsome man and fit as a butcher's dog, plying his trade as a block paver, brickie and general builder for many years, many of which were with his dear old friend Billy. He simply loved life, especially when he was with friends on the golf course or in the bar and was always accompanied by a pretty lady. He suffered from Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus for much of his adult life but never let his condition interfere with his lifestyle in the slightest. He will be remembered by me for many reasons including his generosity and kindness whenever he felt he could help. It says a great deal that the GoFundMe page set up by Terry's dear friend Eileen Hill has easily passed our target with over 90 generous donations. Terry passed away suddenly doing something he thoroughly enjoyed throughout his life while swimming in a hotel pool. RIP my dear old china and say a big hello to Billy xx
