Marian Simpson (14 Mar 1936 - 25 Aug 2015)

In loving memory of Marian Simpson who sadly passed away on 25th August 2015

The family wish to sadly announce that Marian Simpson passed away peacefully on Tuesday 25th August 2015, aged 79 years old.

Marian was born to Tom and Violet Street on 14 March 1936 and was raised in Hyson Green, Nottingham. She met Mick when she was 18 years old and they married on 27 September 1958. They made their family home in Hucknall and their first born son, Steven, arrived on 26 April 1964. Eighteen months later their second son, Michael, arrived, followed six years later by their third son, Jason.

Marian was a keen football fan, who enjoyed supporting Jason, and also watching football on TV. Marian was also a keen dog lover and had dogs for most of her life.

After retiring from her job as a Production Worker she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, Thomas, Daniel, Milly and Lexi, and spent many a happy hour with them.

She will be greatly missed by all.
