Dear Mavis,

Thank you so much for being such an amazing person I feel very lucky to have known even just for a snippet of my life. You were always a support and help to me with so much love to give. You doted on Charley the dog and I hope she’s found you for tickles up there now. Thank you for everything, you’ll be missed by all those around you for sure.
Sarah xx

To Mavis,
Mavis, What a wonderful friend for 50 years.
Felix was best man at our wedding. and often stayed with us at Horsham.
After he died Mavis spent many, many weeks with us on holidays at top class Hotels, and at concerts, musicals, bingo sessions etc.the list is endless. Mavis loved Margaret so much. It was so sad that covid and slight dementia stopped us seeing much of Mavis in the last 2 years.
" Mavis, you were a truly wonderfull treasure and a delight to know. The garden misses your green fingers and so does next door's cat "Molly".
RIP Terry and Margaret.
xx

Mavis or as we called you Nanny May. I feel privileged to have had you in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better great nanny for my children. You have given us so many happy memories over the years and giggles too.

The girls would always be so excited to see you, every time we came to visit. You’d always be waiting for us as we pulled up to give them both a huge cuddle and kiss. You’d sing the ‘cuddley time’ song when they were tiny. Skate on their arms and they’d say again again, play in the park with them. You had so much love to give and they loved you just as much back, we all did and still do.

We will hold you in our hearts forever. The Queen of our family. Sweet dreams xxxxx

I will love you forever. Your little Chrissy forever and always. You really were an incredible lady. My happiest memories were with you grandad and my brothers. I will always love you, for as long as I live. Tell grandad I love him and to shut the eye! You’re three special boys are as close as ever and that’s all down to you two. Sleep well nanny and I’ll see you both again. Always in my dreams. You’re Chrissy. X
