Suddenly in hospital on 24th March, aged 87 years, Gordon, the dearly loved husband of Enid (née Cummings). A much loved dad of Julie and Jeannette. A much adored grandad of Amy and Solomon. A loved father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Friends please meet on Thursday 7th April for a service at St Michael and All Angels Parish Church, Easington Lane at 12.15 pm. Interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to a charity to be chosen by the family. A collection box will be provided at the church. It was a privilege to call Gordon and Enid friends,I will always remember the good times we had in the Lyons.I will also miss Gordon singing his head off while busy in his garden even above the noise of his lawnmower.God bless pal.
