You’d be so proud of us ..we are still fighting for you … the cats are fine they will be with us … we are still struggling but will be ok … we are going to take you to where I know you’d want to be your last journey … all of us together … if you’ve got a second chance up there don’t erm bugger it up … remember us … we remember you …. Today was hard, picking up your ashes. But you are at my flat with me now until we scatter you in Cornwall, you can watch my tele and I’m pretty sure you will like the shows I watch because most of them are ones you liked to watch too (not watching that old shite tho haha). I’ve lit a candle and I will light it whenever I feel low. Rest in peace dad if only you knew the love and support you had but I’m sure you are looking down now and watching everything that’s happening x

If only you knew Dave the love and support both I and the children have received from places I guess you’d never expected…. I know you’d be so happy shocked but happy … I hope you know everything that’s going on how much both I and our children are fighting for you and what a wonderful send off you had ….. I’m so proud of our children … they are amazing .., our grandchildren are beautiful … you were a bit of a Wolly ( kind words 😂) could be well not very nice but we loved you didn’t we … as did others ….i don’t think il ever get over this …. But I’m a strong bird I’ve had to be …. You taught me a lot of lessons ( some il forget 😫😂🙏) il use those to keep both myself and our babies safe …. We will thrive we will be safe please keep an eye on them … they loved you unconditionally and I think they’ve shown that Lloyds even gonna look after you until we can scatter your ashes … our children are amazing and as I said at your funeral i will always be greatful for the gift of our son and daughter , grandson and granddaughter I know I’d never have them without you and I’d do it all again because they are the greatest gift I’ve ever received rest in peace at last and know you Wolly you were loved. Xxx

Rest In Peace Dave. We had some good times over the years. I was thinking about you yesterday and remembering the day we went to Highbury to see the Arsenal and meeting all the players after the match!! I’ll never forget your face on that great day mate. Thinking of you my old friend. I can still smell and taste those bacon sarnies you'd make us in your dads kitchen before we watched one of his films on VHS. Good times bro.
