  • Hello Paul thank you for taking the time to post a message for Des. It didn’t matter if he hadn’t seen friends for years he would just pick up from where he last saw them as if time had no meaning. He valued his friends. Happy Birthday for next time around. Have a drink and think of Des. Mel. Meika and boys

What a legend, you will always be mate a true Cardiff city fan a soldier and a family man
I remember when you took me and my brother David to see Cardiff play when we were about 10
You never took us again because we probably done your head in messing around .
But it’s a memory that I’ve never forgot
I remember you were standing in the kitchen over my nana Ada’s house on Barry island with your uniform on after you had been made corporal or Sargent .
Me and Jodie my cousin used to sit down and shut up when you walked in ,
No messing with you des.
All my love to Melanie Meika & boys
