After some years of failing health, Alan died peacefully on March 10th. A cherished and dearly loved husband of the late Pat and father to Claire and Grant. An adoring Gramps to Patrick, Hayley Mae, Lily Rose and Jay Alexander. A dear friend to many, he derived great pleasure regularly playing golf with his friends at the Cooptimist Golf Society. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Alan was a wonderful gentleman.
A great sportsman,a brilliant tennis player,& fantastic company with an amazing sense of humour.
We have such fond memories of evenings spent with Alan & Pat at Ben Rhydding sports club after a Sunday afternoon of social tennis.
He will be sadly missed by us all.
