David Rose (7 Nov 1936 - 14 Mar 2022)

A gentle gentleman. I knew David as a work colleague and friend for some 40 years. I will miss his quiet good company and humour.

Gill and I were friends of Dave and Sheila in the dancing class that met at Mickleham Village Hall. Our group continued dancing together at Fetcham Village Hall and we were very sorry when Sheila passed away and now Dave has moved on. We were glad to have known them both and several of us met Dave at various times in the autumn. Our best wishes go to the family who arranged a memorable send off for Dave.

Dave, you will be missed.

Dave was a true gentlemen, who we had the privilege to know for over fifty years as a work colleague and friend. He will always be in our thoughts, particularly for his skydiving events to raise money for such a good cause.
