In Memory of Sally Edwards, a loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother who made time to help anybody she could. Sally was kind, generous and passionate about everything she believed in. She loved life and especially enjoyed painting, singing and being around children.
We are heartbroken that she has left us, but have comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with her beloved John, who she so truly missed.
Love always,
Jacqui, Dean, Rick and all of the Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren

Sally's wish was for no flowers but for donations to the NSPCC

Auntie Sally, A wonderful lady that I wish I'd seen more in recent years. I remember her as a kind and loving person from when we visited when I was a small child. She literally saved my life... when I was around 4, Sally took Mum (Kathleen) and us to the beach one day. I wasn't familiar with the sea and wandered straight in over my head! Sally raced down to the waves and lifted me our of the water. I remember it happening and my rescue. The water broke her watch. I was soothed and cuddled in a warm towel. Rest in peace Auntie Sally.

  • I really don't mean to be disrespectful, but my husband bought this painting for me 12 years ago from the Beacroft gallery, and I'm trying to see if I can follow the artist as I now paint myself. Would this painting be one of this lovely ladies? It's called 'sunset castle walk' and is a moody sky picture with a lake and reeds in the foreground. I totally love it x
