I've known lovely Jean since I was about 14 years old when I became friends with Julie. She was funny, kind and caring and a little bit like an extended mum to me too, when we all went on holiday together. The best holiday was the one in North Wales where we would eat out at cafes, visit castles and small Welsh towns and even almost got stuck at the top of a mountain in the dark when Julie was map reading. I'm not sure that Jean enjoyed that moment at the time but I'm guessing that she's looking down and laughing about that time now. She will always be in my memories and my heart and she helped to make me the person I am today. Thankyou Jean, God bless you and rest in peace. So many people will miss you but your light shines on in your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren - I am blessed to have known you. X

Hard to believe we are saying goodbye now, Nanna, when your 90th party is so fresh in our minds...

Lavender drenched hankies and pots of tea, your home grown beetroot and the "Ooh , I say!"
All those pound coins that were pushed into small hands ; just a tiny portion of a lifetime of memories.

I will never forget the mutual looks of admiration between you and your Great-Great Granddaughter, Acacia.
5 generations of beautiful ladies and we all have you to thank for that.
Reunited with Grandad, Uncle Steve and Suki the cat, which is a small consolation for our loss.
Goodnight, God Bless
X
