In loving memory of Peter Alan Turner who sadly passed away, in his sleep, on 28th February 2022.
Following a sudden decline in Dad’s health in December 2020, he began suffering from dementia. This affected both his body and mind, and following a heart attach, Dad spent some time in hospital, where he contracted Covid-19, and later pneumonia. He was unfortunately unable to return to his flat and spent the past few months at Mountdale Nursing Home. He became extremely frail, but remained up-beat, and the lovely and courteous man he always had been. A caring gentleman to the end!
UPDATE:
Following the funeral ceremony there will be a wake, with a buffet and hot drinks, starting at 12:00pm. The venue has a large car park and has unrestricted, flat, access. Please come along if you can, as it will be nice to meet up and share our memories and experiences together:

Please pass on the sad news to anybody who knew my Dad, as it would be great to have a full turnout at his funeral.

Peter, we have so many memories of you from our Cecil days, picking up from parties and our Wedding. I will always remember our lovely chats over a cup of tea, and putting the world to rights!
