In loving memory of Carole Brown who sadly passed away on 18th February 2022
Carole was a much loved wife, Mum and Granny. She loved her friends and family dearly.
The family have been touched by the many messages of heartfelt condolences and would like to thank you for your kind expressions of sympathy.
Thank you too for any donation to Mayhew animal welfare charity. Carole was an animal lover. Her childhood pets included a rabbit called Spud and two tortoises called Terence and Topsy. As an adult, she “rescued” six dogs: Lucy, Jo-Jo, Lucky, Gemma, Rosie and Holly. She also loved owls, ducks, giraffes and her granddaughter’s guinea pigs Blossom and Silky! Mayhew is an animal charity that was close to Carole’s heart.

Dear Douglas, Heather, Jenny and the lovely Lily.
It was heartwarming to meet you all at Carole’s Celebration. The occasion was a fitting tribute to Carole’s memory and I’m sure that the friendliness and happy disposition of all those that attended, together with the laughter, would have been very much to Carole’s liking.
My admiration for Carole and Douglas will never wain and I feel blessed to have been included in their journey through life.
