Shirley Edwards (Passed away 9 Feb 2022)

In loving memory of Shirley Ann Edwards who sadly passed away on 9th February 2022, at the grand age of 83. Shirley lived a full life surrounded by her 5 children - Danny, Jackie, Martin, Timmy and Alan. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was married to Alan for almost 40 years, and he preceded her in death in 1995. Shirley also leaves behind a beloved sister, Pauline. Shirley was at her happiest in her garden, growing and planting flowers, and took great pride in her flower beds and hanging baskets. As she progressed in age, and gardening became more difficult for her, she enjoyed colouring books (mostly flowers!) and would stay up all hours to finish any new books she had. Shirley enjoyed her trips to America, Holland and Ireland and loved seeing the beauty of each country. She will be sorely missed by those left behind, who take comfort in the fact that she will be reunited with her loved ones.
