In loving memory of Gisela Kahler who sadly passed away on Sunday 16th January 2022; at her home in Southampton, just before her 63rd birthday. Gisela was born and brought up in Kiel, North Germany and also studied there. She later moved to Southampton, where she earned a PhD in geology. She financed her study by drawing and making city maps. She later became interested in alternative treatments and studied Kinesiology and EFT. She opened 'Kinesiology Southampton' in her home. She came in touch with the Brahma Kumaris in Germany 1983, and immediately became an enthusiastic student and active volunteer. She had a cheerful nature and was a good listener. She was always kind and generous-hearted, cooperative, respectful and caring, and would always tread lightly on this earth. She is very much missed by her family and friends.

Dearest Gisela,
What a sweet soul you are. Very giving, incognito and always cheerful. You were always generous with your heart and time. You slipped away so peacefully and quietly because a bigger purpose awaits for which you will be the perfect soul indeed.
Giving, Incognito, Sweet, Enthusiastic, Loving, Angelic
With lots of love

Gisela was my dearest true friend for 20 years & although we were like chalk & cheese (except for our shared passion for the cinema) we jelled together like a cup & saucer. Her being the cup, full of wisdom, patience & understanding and me being the saucer catching all the 'drips' of her generosity, love and care. Gisela will always be in my heart and the many amazing gifts she created for me are a constant physical reminder. Happy onward journey my sweet soul sister, see you again soon. Much love Val xxx

Gisela, a gentle enthusiastic soul, a friend whose company all enjoyed; a true heart whose gifts were simple treasures, her healing skills, the astonished Nos and hundred fold percentage exclamations when we were in discussion; the tiles she fired for us,the receiving of poppy cake which she so loved and, the times we cycled together on the Isle of Wight. - we will always hold you, the treasure of you Gisela in our love and rememberance.

Gisela - You lived and loved so gently on this earth. You lived life so quietly, carefully, consciously and silently - like a mouse. No need for a song and a dance, noise and spectacle or show.
You slipped away from us - quietly like a mouse. With a soft smile.
You loved all life, you loved your pet mice and rats- you loved all animals and they loved you back. We all did.
You left far too soon but there must be a special job for you and you were needed.
RIP and Fly high gentle soul.
A thousand percent sweet you were.

You helped so many of us at GRC dearest Gisella. And I shall always remember your happy seriousness as you listened and checked and considered and always gave such good guidance and advice. Once I visited your home and was so delighted by your amazing quirky creativity. And to find out that you lived not even a few hundred yards from where I was born seemed significant. We shall all miss you Gisella and look forward to next time we meet.
