Tuesday 25th August 2015 mums funeral..... If possible everyone is to wear Red and Black, mum will be travelling up to Wilford Hill in a Red London Double decker bus, Croydon in London is where she came from, Wilford Hill is where she live when she moved to Nottingham, so Mum will be " going home" travelling past the lodge where she used to live with her two sisters Ann and Sylvia, mum and dad (Charles and Phyllis) her father was superintendent at Wilford Hill from 1959, before that I believe he was Assistant Superintendent at Elmers End Cemetery, Beckenham, not sure of the year he retired but he and mums mum moved to Dibden Southampton in December 1978 ...... Everyone attending Mums Funeral must be there for 11.20, if your coming in the bus then please be at mine for 10.30 as the bus will be leaving at 10.50 after the funeral the bus will make it way back to mine then at 1.00 there will be a gathering up at Carlton Church where my mum went for many years the Address is ...... 49 Station Road, Carlton, Nottingham, NG4 3AR.
