I now live an hour south of San Francisco but I went to school with Linda. I lived in Wigston.
Did some searching and found this information.
It makes me sad as Linda and I were good friends, could make her laugh alot which made me happy.
Thank you.

Our sister Linda
You have gone but will never be forgotten, my earliest memories of you is when you came to live with us when you were a kid, gosh 17,maybe or younger you would babysit me and Stella while mum went bingo and we would test how far we could push you in misbehaving, which was often quite far, it was when you'd take your scholl off to us that we knew we gone too far, it was great really it was like we had a new big sister, I remember you taking us to see you mum and dad on a Saturday afternoon and we would walk across fields and feed the horses and that became a regular routine and have remained, some of the fondest memories of my childhood and once you and Holly were married are stays in the army barracks in cambridge, it was at those times when I came to learn, how strong you were and that we should take no crap from anyone especially when it came racism, and I admired you for that you were headstrong and could hold your own, and taught your girls to be the same as we grew older we grew closer I knew I could talk to you about anything and everything and although you may not have realized the significant place you held in the family you have left a unique gap Linda we loved you and you will be missed, My comfort is that you are now with Holly and I can once again say Holly and Linda together again as it should be. Rest in peace my sister I will miss you, give the family my love until we meet again. Your sister Gez.

dear aunty Linda
you will be so missed and are so loved.
thank goodness for memories that will never fade
of visiting you so often throughout my childhood and spending summer holidays and weekends in your house
of you hovering early in the mornings and sending us all to the shops
of you telling us to go to sleep and to stop playing super mario or watching films
of you being so caring and loving and welcoming and proud of everyone.
thank you for being such a dear aunty to me. you’ll always be remembered ❤️

Aunty Linda,
It breaks my heart writing this and I wish I didn’t have to be.
All our visits to yours won’t feel the same without you.
You’ll always be in my memories and I have so many fond memories of you all throughout my life.
I’m grateful to have had an aunty like you and a place to visit, your door was always open.
Your spirit and great humour will always be with us.
By the way, I can only thank you for always having a dog so I was never scared of dogs (mostly, kind of) I’m sure it was very entertaining having us jump around the kitchen from your dogs, we’ll call it resilience training.
Missing you
Lots of love always,
Aniqah xxx

I met Linda on her first visit to Antigua with her beloved Holly many years ago and was immediately drawn to her warmth and friendliness. I soon grew to love her for her genuine love, love and pride in her husband, children and grandchildren and also for us, Holly’s extended family.
Linda was one of the most genuine people I know and our family looked forward to her visits; she would greet everyone with a hug, especially the kids who she dearly loved and never forgot to bring gifts which they eagerly looked forward to.
I miss Linda, our frequent phone calls and more frequent WhatsApp texts, our jokes and laughter, our “I love you”s. I know that she and her beloved Holly are both sleeping in the arms of our Sovereign Lord.
Rest in Peace and rise in glory.

Agnes

My dearest Aunty Linda,
I can't believe you're not here with us and I feel it will take me a while to digest it.
Many summer holidays I spent with you and loved every moment.
You are part of many of my fondest memories, such as big character and a loving heart.
I will never forget our greeting ritual which starts by me saying 'hiya Lin', you asking 'what you say' and me smiling and then greeting you by ' hi Aunty Linda' majority of the time you'd end up pinching me and then hugging me... I'm really going to miss our banter.
Always in my heart, may you rest in peace Aunty. Love always x
