I (Neil) learnt a lot by visiting Horseilands. Alec saved me from Bees when an eight year old was investigating a hive to closely. Only a few stings!
Rest in peace with his brother Dudley (my Dad) and of course Pearl.

A very fond memory of my Uncle Alec is holidays at Horsilands, being with Alec as called his herd of cows in, I was so impressed that he knew all of their names and one called Valerie! Mingling amongst those beautiful creatures, the smell of warm milk and Alec talking to them, being allowed to feed a calf……RIP Alec ♥️
