Eve sadly passed away on 21 December 2021, despite everything, she was still able to make everyone around her smile right until the end with her dry sense of humour and demands for homemade trifle and midnight wheelchair adventures. Even a slightly awkward encounter with a consultant who had also been a Tinder date.

As a child, Eve was kind hearted, creative and fun, as one of four children, she was always at the centre of every adventure and every funny story. Her mum would tell you that Eve was the most perfect baby and child with a likeness to Snow White which never changed as she grew and dreams of becoming a teacher, often making her brother and sisters play as her pupils. Eve did in fact achieve this dream with a degree in Primary Education from Nottingham Trent University and through her work with vulnerable young people.

Eve always put her family first and was always the first one to say yes to new things, she lived to travel and some of her best adventures were in a Morocco and Disney land. She had recently discovered a love for the Peak District and being outdoors, hiking, staying in treehouses and yurts and even nurturing the resident wildlife.

Eves favourite things were her family, friends, accessories, bonfire night, Christmas, holidays, Italian food & dancing. As a child Eve excelled in dance competitions and later enjoyed any opportunity to dance on nights out with her sisters and friends.

There are no words that could convey our love for Eve or the sadness we feel since we said goodbye. Eve was a beautiful, selfless, kindhearted, funny and creative daughter, sister, auntie & friend who has left an unforgettable impact on so many lives and will be forever loved and remembered.

We will be holding a celebration of Eves life at 11.30 on 9 February 2022 at Gedling Crematorium. In memory of Eve please consider donating to Macmillan instead of sending flowers. We encourage you to upload any photos you have of Eve, as a family we will cherish these and would be grateful to share in these memories.

Eve, you made us all promise to good in the world & I promise this is my first step to keeping that promise. Until now I’ve never spent a day on this earth without you & im not sure I know how but I promise I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud by being a better person, just like you were until the day we meet again. I love you, I miss you more than I can say xxx

I've known Eve around 5 years, seeing each other nearly every working day.
Eve was always there to talk me down off ledge, and we leant each other our ears for a good moan! Eve had the most calming influence and always managed to make me feel positive. She was so grown up and constructive! She literally was the most empathetic person I've met.
We loved a good gossip, and always went to lunch together.

I'll miss our break times at work, silly GIFs we sent each other on teams chat, our telephone calls, going out for drinks, how drunk you got at Christmas parties 😊
For now Eve, rest well and I'll see you later xx

We we're great friends at school, I have very fond memories of us spending time together after school and trekking to your 3rd floor bedroom. Then my mum would arrive to pick me up and we knew we still had ages because ours mum's would be nattering for hours. The times we spent at karaoke belting out some 90's cheese, very very fond memories. My thoughts are with all your family right now ❤ x

To say we wrote letters for a living, I’m struggling with words right now…Just want to express how grateful I am for our friendship, all the giggles, the chats, your honesty and loyalty. I miss you lots and think of you every day. Until we meet again ♥️

Eve borrowed a gazebo so we could hang out in my garden during covid and rubbish summer weather. It was so windy we each had to sit in a separate corner, juggling a drink in one hand and the gazebo in the other. It was ridiculous and great. I miss you.
