Marie Elizabeth "Betty" Wort (Passed away 31 Dec 2021)

Marie (Betty) Wort, passed away after a short illness on 31st December 2021 at the age of 88. For many years Betty lived in Ironside Court where she made many wonderful friends and lived happily. Bett also lived in Wincanton in Somerset and Ellwood Close in Thornhill Southampton but originally she was born and raised in Chapel, Southampton. The youngest of 13 Tudor and Dyer children, Bett sadly lost her husband Dimps in 2019 and now leaves behind a loving Daughter Kim and Son Marc, and grandchildren Jodie, Carly, Steve, Jacob and Alfie and Great Grand Children Louis and Jorja. For those friends and family that would like to come to Bettys service at St Michaels in Hamtun Street Southampton SO14 on the 3rd Feb at 11am please come along. There will be a short committal service at Bassett crematorium following the church service for those that would like to say a final farewell. A wake will take place at the Royal British Legion, Eastgate St, SO14 3HB ( behind the Standing Order pub) from 1pm.
