On 30th December at home in Silsden, Michael aged 71 years formerly of Bradford 3. Beloved husband of Margaret. A private funeral will take place at this time.
Michael, small in stature, huge in personality, with the greatest gift of making people laugh.
He was, for 50 years, the calm to my storm.
He loved and cared for me every day of his life.
Not much time for people, but his special affinity with dogs was wonderful to see.
Over the years, he was a volunteer driver for OAP's and worked in a charity shop, but his greatest passion was Guide Dogs, holding the post of Treasurer, he knew first hand how special they are.
He is now at rest, with the friend who became his brother.
We met Michael through his love for dogs when he & Margaret looked after our pets while we were on holiday. He accepted the challenge of our very boisterous Labrador puppy & we appreciated his sense of humour!

Michael was a friend and fellow Guide Dogs volunteer. He was a kind man and had a wonderful sense of humour. I always enjoyed meeting up with him and doing fundraising events together. Rest in peace Michael and thank you for your kindness and friendship.
