In loving memory of Joan Mary Theresa Edge, who sadly passed away on 7th August 2015.
Originally from London, Joan settled in Birmingham, first with husband Lesley Haslam and then with her second husband, Harold Edge. Joan brought up six children virtually single-handedly whilst holding down several jobs to make ends meet. She was an independent and determined woman for the majority of her life. By the age of 90, Joan was a proud grandmother and great grandmother to more than 37 children!
Whilst in Good Hope Hospital, Joan suffered a stroke from which she never recovered. She will be greatly missed.
