In loving memory of Brian Penny who sadly passed away on 12th August 2015.

Husband to Edwina, Dad to Craig & Sarah, Grandad to Lily, George, Bobby & Ella as well as son to James & Hilda, brother to John, Margaret & Joan.

My dad was born in Coventry on September 23rd 1936 and apart from a 2 year stint doing National Service in Malaysia has lived there ever since.
He met my Mum, Edwina on May 19th 1976 at the Coachmakers Club, they then went on to marry on February 5th 1977 when I was 8 years old.

My Dad worked for F Dixon for 44 years as a grinder and retired in 2001 to spend more time enjoying life with my Mum.

As a couple they were inseparable and would enjoy many good times abroad with my Uncle John & Auntie Breda.

He was a loving, caring and loyal man with old fashioned values and never had a cross word with anyone. He had time for anyone who could spare it and was always there in an hour of need.

My Mum & Dad joined a gym at Walton Hall near Stratford and built up a large group of friends who they valued the company of very much.

Life is never going to be the same without Pops but I know he would want me to stay strong for my Mum and make sure she is well taken care of, which of course she will be.

We have set this page up so that if people wish to make a donation to Cancer research they can in memory of my beautiful Dad and hopefully one day rid the world of this disease that takes so many loved ones from their families.

God bless you all and please keep a memory of my Dad in your hearts forever, I think he deserves it.

Thankyou

Edwina & Craig x
