So sorry to hear of this. Sadly I lost touch with my good friend, Alan, some years ago. A really nice chap and some happy memories of the many pints we had in The Ship. R.I P.

I have many fond memories of Alan, he was a huge part of my childhood.I enjoyed many days out and stays at Skegness with Alan, Keni and my beautiful friend Jodie. I remember when he used to get the dictionary out and try tell us what things meant and give us all his wise words of wisdom 😂. He used to tell us we had wasted half the day in bed when we got up at 10am. Alan always used to say the shaggy song "it wasn't me" was wrote for me 😂. Alan and Keni made me feel so welcome as if I was their own, they hugged me, nurtured me and watched me grow from the age of 7 until my late teens. I will never forget these years and will cherish the memories we have. Rest in peace Alan back with Keni now, love you xxxxxx
