Helen Moir (10 Jun 1941 - 23 Dec 2021)

In loving memory of Helen Moir who sadly passed away peacefully on 23rd December 2021. Born in Drumchapel Glasgow (The Drum) in 1941, a loving and devoted mother of 3 and Grandmother (Nana) to 5 Granddaughters. She was also a beautiful wife to her husband John who passed away at the age of 72. Helen travelled to South Africa in the 70's where she lived and had many of an adventure for almost 30 years and raised her 3 children in the happiest of homes. She was a hard working mother who spent her days at work and nights a home maker looking after her family. Her children can attest to her supportive and encouraging nature, always wise and kind. She enjoyed cooking, music and taking care of her family and a good laugh with friends. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Helen will be remembered as a selfless, humble wife and mother who always had a smile even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength. She never complained about the big stuff and always looked for a better future. During the last moments she chose not to mention she had cancer but to rather keep it to herself as to not worry her family, so neither cancer or hard times would rob her of her last years with her family until god called her home.
