In loving memory of Frank Karl Bolger who sadly passed away on 19th December 2021
Frank was born 1960, his parents are Thomas and Christel Bolger, he is one of 7 children, Michael, Tony, Rosie, Christine, Susan and Heidi.
Frank attended Sneinton C of E primary & Greenwood secondary schools.
After leaving school in 1976, Frank worked for GW Price in the lace market as a shipping clerk for 2 years, he then worked down Gedling pit for 10 years until it closed. Frank along with several other miners went on to work for the Royal Mail, at first he was a postman delivering mail, then went on to be CWU area processing rep.
Frank and I would have been married for 40 years in March, in that time we had 2 daughters Victoria and Leanne, and 4 Grandchildren: Zach, George, Joshua and Frankie.
Frank was very much a family man, he loved spending time with his Grandchildren, we had many family holidays, the last being Disneyland Paris in October.
Frank also worked for Notts County, Nottingham Forest and Trent Bridge Cricket ground.
Frank was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather, he will be greatly missed.

Could I please request, family flowers only.

If anyone would like to attend Franks funeral, but are unable, there will be a webcam, so if you would like me to send you the link closer to the date please let me know.

Kind Regards
Tracey x

I absolutely loved stewarding with Frank at Trent Bridge. We built a very special friendship alongside Ian and had so many giggles along the way - there was never a dull moment. I have so many wonderful memories to treasure of Frank - as well as the CD he made me and the giant inflatable lips he bought for me! Frank would seemingly do anything to make someone smile or laugh! There are really no words to describe how special he was. I will always strive to live my life the way Frank lived his - with a smile on his face, a heart bursting with love and all the kindness in the world to give. He appeared to truly love life and I can honestly say he touched the lives of everyone he met. Frank will not only be missed by all the stewards he worked with at Trent Bridge but all the spectators he chatted to and became friends with. His loss will be felt so significantly by us all but how lucky we were to have met someone so very special. To Frank’s family I am so very sorry for your loss. Hannah xx

I first met Frank at Notts County, working on the turnstiles and he always had a smile and made time for everyone. It was a pleasure sharing stories of Berlin with him. One of my last memories is him sitting in the stands at Notts County with no coat, or shirt as he said he was hot..... It was a cold day in December.
