In loving memory of Mary Stone who sadly passed away on 12th December 2021 after a short illness. The Medical Team who looked after Mary at QMC were exceptional and ensured Mary passed away peacefully and without pain for which the Family are extremely grateful. Mary was prepared for her death and was ready to join her beloved Alfred. The charity for donations derives from Winged Fellowship Trust which Mary and Alfred and other friends worked hard to promote in the early days of the charity providing respite holidays for disabled people a cause close to their hearts.

Thank you for your warm welcome to us when we moved to Oundle Drive some years ago. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer neighbour. You will be missed. Lots of love Simon, Meeta & Lewis (#10 Oundle).

How can I say goodbye to my Mum-in-law, my second Mum? Mary was nothing like the usual dreadful comedian's view of mothers-in-law. She was always kind and friendly towards me. Always ready to sit down with a coffee and, sometimes, with a cigarette and have a long chat, when we would put the world to rights. I shall miss you, terribly, Mamma, for the rest of my life. All my love, Paul.
