Ted Hayhoe, 83 years passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2021.

Loving husband he is survived by his wife, Gill, their children Julia, Steven, Kevin and grandchildren Nyla, Ben and Tara.

Born in London 1938, he was the youngest child of the family. At the tender age of 15 he joined the RAF as an apprentice, which is where he met Gill when they were both Sergeants on 10 Squadron, RAF Brize Norton. He continued his accomplished, and incredible career in aviation as a Flight Engineer on VC10's, Tristar's and 747s with BOAC, followed by British Airways.

Ted enjoyed sailing, listening to classical music, and travelling across the world. In his retirement he kept himself busy with gardening, model making, trains and bowling.

Out of an abundance of caution and concern the funeral will be a private service. The family requests donations to Macmillan Cancer Support in lieu of flowers.
