I had the pleasure of meeting this man when I was growing up with Louisa. He was a true delight to be around and always so friendly. Sending all my love to his family during this difficult time. A true gentle-man has left this earth and will forever be missed. R.i.p

Grandad. Words can't really express how great of a man you were, but here I am trying to sum you up as if there's enough room here to do that. I really can't describe how kind and thoughtful you were as a person. No matter who you met you would leave them with such an incredible impression. No matter what had happened it was never, ever, about yourself. It was always "what can I do for others", or "how could I help someone else". I've been the most blessed grandchild I could have been after being born into the family I have. I really can't describe how lucky I am to have had you. No matter what troubles I had you'd always help me, talk to me if I wad having issues or if you knew I was having a bad time you'd take me out for breakfast. It really feels wrong to be writing this because it still really hasn't sunk in yet. Thank you. Thank you for being you, for being selfless and kind. Thank you for welcoming Danni into the family. Thank you for teaching me everything you have. I love and miss you grandad

Anything I think of would not do justice in describing you as a man! The things you have taught me I will never forget and will help my for the rest of my life. Your funny one liners, your typical dad jokes and your all round humour will be missed be everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. I for one am more than privileged to of spent the last 11 years making memories with you and the family. The things you have done for me lou and the kids I can't thankyou enough for. The word legend gets thrown around too much these days, but you grandad are THE LEGEND! You should be the blueprint to what every grandad should be! I'll miss you grandad for sure. Keep watching over us love you lots xx
