In loving memory of Jillian Patricia Lester who sadly passed away on 8th December 2021 aged 80 years.
Jill (as she liked to be known) was born on 16th October 1941. She was the proud daughter of the late Edith and George Blanchard of Blanchard's Bakery, Watnall, and sister to Rod. Jill was a devoted mother to Roderick, Donna & Julie and Gran Gran to Archie, Bella and Zachy.
Jill will be greatly missed by all who loved her but she will remain in our hearts forever. xxx

The funeral will take place at St Patrick's Church, Nuthall at 10.00am followed by the internment at Nuthall Cemetery. Please click the attendance tab on the obituary to let us know if you are able to attend.

Jill became a very dear friend to me whilst I worked at the local bank. She was so kind to me when I lost my Dad who was my soul mate. I will always remember her beautiful heart and how much she supported me through the worst times of my life. Their are not many people like Jill in this world, and I will treasure those memories I have for the rest of my life. May she rest in peace 🙏. My love goes to her family at this sad time.

My thoughts are with Rod, Donna and Julie at this difficult time. Jill was a warm, kind hearted lady. She was a dear family friend who will be sadly missed. I have memories from my childhood to present day that I will cherish forever.
