Ian passed away peacefully on the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital on 24th November 2021, aged 50 years. Devoted husband to Emily, adored father of Keela and Matt, loving son to Noel and the late Margaret, much loved brother to Di and Jane, uncle and special friend to many.

Emily, I didn't know Ian, however, from our conversations he seemed like an amazing and exceptionally courageous man who fought so hard to stay with his family.

Rip Ian , you was a good boss to me during my time at Morrisions burton .and you turn out to be a special friend too I will miss out chats , Ian you listen to me and help me in many situations advise me what would be the correct way you always understood and explained things the east way I learnt so much from you .you will be miss dearly and I treasure my memories of you xxxlove Kim &matt xxx
